his video documents the creative process behind two large-scale murals realized as part of the PECDA 2023 (Programa de Estímulos a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico) grant at the Unidad Deportiva José María Morelos “Toro” Valenzuela in Cancún, Mexico.

From conceptual development and sketching to the final layers of color, the process reveals how these works emerged through dialogue with the space and its community. The murals were conceived as visual narratives that celebrate strength, movement, and emotional bonds, reflecting the daily life of the people who inhabit this sports complex.

For me, these murals represent an act of collective presence: painting as a way to listen, to connect, and to leave a poetic trace in a shared public space.
